Cook mouthwatering Santa Barbara crab right in your own kitchen! Follow these easy steps:

1. Season a pot of water with salt and bring it to a boil.

2.  Carefully place the crabs into the boiling water.

3.  Wait for water to start boiling again.

4.  Once the water comes back to a boil, set your timer for 9 minutes for rock crab or 12-14 minutes for larger spider crabs.

5.  Use tongs to remove the cooked crabs from the pot and transfer them into ice water.

 7. Serve with melted butter with a squeeze of lemon!

Rock “Stone” Crab

Rockfish “Rock Cod”

Rockfish or "rock cod" are, delicious, mild, versatile fish that are excellent for grilling, steaming, baking, panfrying, ceviche, tacos and more!

Do not rinse any fish fillets.

If storing fillets in the refrigerator, wrap in plastic wrap. Do not freeze unless you need to keep the fish beyond 6 days. Our fish is not like what you will find in a store. It is truly fresh.

These are very different than Maine Lobster and are highly sought after around the world. I highly recommend grilling whole split lobsters like in the recipe below, or mimicking this recipe by broiling in the oven!
